Home Goes Pink Across Canada
Home Hardware Stores Limited is trading their
signature red for pink across Canada on October 28 in support of Breast Cancer Awareness
month. Through the Home Goes Pink initiative, over 250 stores and all 5 of Home Hardware’s
distribution centres will be donning thousands of pink t-shirts next Tuesday to show their support
in the fight against breast cancer.
Home Hardware has been wearing pink in support of breast cancer awareness for over 15
years, but this year marks the first of which the program has been taken across Canada to
involve both the corporate locations and stores.
In addition to carrying items for sale where portions of the proceeds are donated towards breast
cancer research, each participating store will be hosting their own events and initiatives in
support of the Canadian Cancer Society.
Milton Home Hardware Building Centre will be featuring donation boxes in store
in support of breast cancer research.
“With one in nine Canadian women being diagnosed with breast cancer, it is important
for our Dealer-Owners from coast- to-coast-to-coast to join together with the rest of
Canada in solidarity to find a cure. I encourage everyone to donate by visiting
