25 Years in the Lumber Business

1986-2011

In the Fall of 1985, the plan was in place, the addition to our original store underway, and some of the new lumber staff hired.
By the spring of 1986 the ground work was laid for the “Grand Opening”.

On May 1st there was a lot of fanfare! The Mayor, Town Councillors, the President of Home Hardware Stores and, of course, many of our loyal customers were on hand to celebrate this new venture with us.
Remember, Milton was a small town with a population of under 30,000 in 1986.
Now after 25 years, we still see some of those original customers.
Milton has grown to over 100,000 today and we are still here to help with any project you might wish to undertake.

We’ve teamed up with Weber, Broil King and the Big Green Egg for a weekend full of cooking tips and sampling.

The Weber and Broil King experts will be here Saturday 10 am to 4 pm to answer all your questions.

On Sunday the team from The Big Green Egg will be here to demonstrate the advantages and uniqueness of grilling, smoking & baking on The Big Green Egg also 10 am to 4 pm.
