TYROC Overflooring…Make concrete comfortable
Turn rooms with cold, damp, concrete floors into spaces that are dry, cozy and foot friendly.
Advanced dual-board technology seals in dryness and warmth. Tyroc “floats” above the concrete, which isolates the floor covering, smoothing surfaces that are slightly uneven and helps prevent foundational cracks from damaging tiles.
Tyroc does not decompose or expand when wet. Tyroc does not need to be nailed or glued to the floor and will not shift or bow. Where you have limited headroom, tyroc is a better choice, as it is only 12mm(1/2″) thick, which is 42% less than the leading wood-based subfloor.
Tyroc is easy to install, 48″ x 16″ panels are easy to carry. Can install over green concrete and there is no need to acclimatize; can be brought in and installed immediately. No tongue & groove than can be damaged when you hammer together the other wood-based subfloor. The edges can be glued easily with adhesive caulking.

What You Need To Know About “Winterizing” Your Home
It’s is time to think about winterizing your house, to protect your investment and save you money on heating and maintenance. When you look at the big picture, it may seem overwhelming, but just a few simple tasks can save you time and unexpected repairs that the winter may throw at you. These simple techniques will make you more “Home Savvy”.
Step 1: Seal leaks around doors and windows
- Add or replace worn weather-stripping around doors and windows.
- Caulk gaps where necessary.
- Replace worn door stops at the bottom of doors.
- If you have them, install storm doors and windows, including basement windows.
Step 2: Seal other leaks
- Use caulking and weather-stripping around entry points for all pipes and ducts running through an exterior wall.
- Install insulating kits behind electrical plugs on an exterior wall.
- Is the attic insulation adequate to keep your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer?
